Mountains - Sri Lanka About Udamala……………………..
Udamala Mountain is situated at between Pattipola and Bogahakumbura. This mountain is high about 2000m (7500Ft) .It is at the border of Nuwaraeliya and Badulla districts of Sri Lanka and you can enjoy wet and dry zones there . North and West of the mountain is at Nuwaraeliya District and East and South of the mountain is at Badulla District.
Udamala Mountain is very
beautiful hacking although there is no tourist climb it because local and international community has not knew about this. During your Journey you can enjoy the beauty of waterfalls like Diyawatanalla which is at Alawathugoda. Diyawatanalla is a not single waterfall and in December it is very beautiful waterfall.You can see deer, jungle fowl, leopards, cows, snakes, reptiles, endemic and other birds, butterflies and also endemic floras and many sceneries.

Before you start to climb, you should find out the person from Bogahakumbura or Alawatugoda who can guide you properly. Remember that, the way you have to go is not easier.
