Horton Plains
The Plains are a beautiful, silent, strange world with some excellent walks। By Visiting Horton Plains you can see World’s End, Bakersworld Water Fall, Wild Animals etc... It is 40km from Nuwara Eliya 2,130m the islands highest. Best months to visit are April and August. If you wish to walk, it is best to get to Ohiya station, the nearest on public transport, which has shops selling refreshments in the early morning.
