Pattipola

Pattipola is a very beautiful village in Sri Lanka which is situated at Nuwaraeliya district. It is near to the border of Nuwaraeliya and Badulla districts. It is 1893m highest above sea level. Pattipola is famous for cool, Railway station, Railway tunnel 18 and also pattipola is situated on the way of Horton plains, Totupala Mountain and Kirigalpoththa Mountain. Pattipola railway station is the highest railway station of Sri Lanka. Sourrounding of the railway station is very beautiful. There is a place called Summit Level which is highest pot of Sri Lanka Railway and which is 1898m high above sea level.

From Pattipola to Horton plans there are less than 12km. When you travel to Pattipola to Horton you can meet little lakes. In the morning pattipola is very cool and afternoon some what comfortable. In evening the mist come and covered every field.
